Half Baked Office Update 06.04.16
The Half Baked office has been a busy place this week, with the new release from Mike Huckaby arriving, to the tracks for the release after that being discovered, it has been a pretty successful week to say the least.
This coming Saturday we’re doing a Half Baked Records showcase at our home – Number 90. For this one we have invited one third of [a:rpia:r] in Petre Inspirescu, who will be playing a 4 hour set. The Romanian producer is also well known for his unique style blending his classical roots with electronic music. Following his great performance last year at Oval Space, we have no doubt that he will once again wow us all in the more intimate setting of Number 90.
Joining him will be one of our dear residents Greg Brockmann that has built up quite a reputation in recent years of being a damn good DJ! Not only a fantastic DJ, Greg has recently opened his own new record shop in Dalston – Koncept Music. An intimate basement that feels just like a lounge, the aim here is to give likeminded people a place to hang out, whether they wish to do some work, have a coffee, buy some records or check out the art!
Our lineup for Saturday is completed by Undersound’s Harry McCanna. One of our favourite DJ’s on the London circuit at the moment. Time and time again Harry has impressed us and with some great productions coming out as well he is sure one to keep an eye on over the next few years. We’re looking forward to him making his debut here this weekend.
